1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 2 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς αἱ ἑορταὶ κυρίου ἃς καλέσετε αὐτὰς κλητὰς ἁγίας αὗταί εἰσιν ἑορταί μου 3 ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ σάββατα ἀνάπαυσις κλητὴ ἁγία τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσεις σάββατά ἐστιν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν 4 αὗται αἱ ἑορταὶ τῷ κυρίῳ κληταὶ ἅγιαι ἃς καλέσετε αὐτὰς ἐν τοῖς καιροῖς αὐτῶν 1 The Lord also spoke to Moses, 2 bidding him tell the sons of Israel: These are the feasts which the Lord will have you proclaim as specially set apart.[1] 3 You have six days to work in; the seventh day must be kept set apart as a day that is all repose; you must refrain from all work that day, and there must be repose in every dwelling-place of yours, in the Lord’s honour. 4 And these are the feasts you must observe as consecrated to the Lord when certain times of year come round.
5 ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ μηνὶ ἐν τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἑσπερινῶν πάσχα τῷ κυρίῳ 6 καὶ ἐν τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τούτου ἑορτὴ τῶν ἀζύμων τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἄζυμα ἔδεσθε 7 καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ πρώτη κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε 8 καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ἡ ἑβδόμη ἡμέρα κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε 5 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month, the Lord’s Pasch begins; 6 and with the fifteenth day of the month comes the feast of unleavened bread; for a whole week you will eat your bread without leaven. 7 This first day you shall hold in great honour and reverence, doing no servile work on it; 8 you will offer burnt-sacrifice to the Lord, and these sacrifices shall continue all through the week. The seventh day, too, is one which is to be kept with special honour and reverence, and no servile work is to be done. Septem diebus azyma comedetis.
9 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 10 εἰπὸν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὅταν εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι ὑμῖν καὶ θερίζητε τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτῆς καὶ οἴσετε δράγμα ἀπαρχὴν τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα 11 καὶ ἀνοίσει τὸ δράγμα ἔναντι κυρίου δεκτὸν ὑμῖν τῇ ἐπαύριον τῆς πρώτης ἀνοίσει αὐτὸ ὁ ἱερεύς 12 καὶ ποιήσετε ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐν ᾗ ἂν φέρητε τὸ δράγμα πρόβατον ἄμωμον ἐνιαύσιον εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ κυρίῳ 13 καὶ τὴν θυσίαν αὐτοῦ δύο δέκατα σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ θυσία τῷ κυρίῳ ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας κυρίῳ καὶ σπονδὴν αὐτοῦ τὸ τέταρτον τοῦ ιν οἴνου 14 καὶ ἄρτον καὶ πεφρυγμένα χίδρα νέα οὐ φάγεσθε ἕως εἰς αὐτὴν τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην ἕως ἂν προσενέγκητε ὑμεῖς τὰ δῶρα τῷ θεῷ ὑμῶν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν 9 And next, the Lord spoke to Moses, 10 bidding him give this message to the Israelites: When you have reached the land I mean to make yours, you will have a harvest to gather in. You must bring sheaves of corn, the first-fruits of your crop, to the priest, 11 and he, the day following the sabbath, will consecrate each sheaf, lifting it up in the Lord’s presence to win his favour for you. 12 The same day on which the sheaf is hallowed, a yearling lamb without blemish must be offered to the Lord as a burnt-sacrifice; 13 and with it, as a bloodless offering, a peck of flour, kneaded with oil, to burn before the Lord and please him with the smell of its burning. And you must add a quart of wine by way of libation. 14 You must not eat bread or pearl-barley or porridge made from the new crop until you have brought your God this offering. This is a law you must observe at all times and everywhere.

Ego sum Dominus Deus vester.
23 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 24 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς ἔσται ὑμῖν ἀνάπαυσις μνημόσυνον σαλπίγγων κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν 25 πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαύτωμα κυρίῳ 26 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 27 καὶ τῇ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ἡμέρα ἐξιλασμοῦ κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ ταπεινώσετε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ κυρίῳ 28 πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἔστιν γὰρ ἡμέρα ἐξιλασμοῦ αὕτη ὑμῖν ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ ὑμῶν ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν 29 πᾶσα ψυχή ἥτις μὴ ταπεινωθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς 30 καὶ πᾶσα ψυχή ἥτις ποιήσει ἔργον ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἀπολεῖται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς 31 πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν πάσαις κατοικίαις ὑμῶν 32 σάββατα σαββάτων ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ ταπεινώσετε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν ἀπὸ ἐνάτης τοῦ μηνὸς ἀπὸ ἑσπέρας ἕως ἑσπέρας σαββατιεῖτε τὰ σάββατα ὑμῶν 23 And next, the Lord spoke to Moses, 24 bidding him tell the Israelites: You must keep the first day of the seventh month as a day of rest; it shall be proclaimed holy with blowing of trumpets, to keep the Lord in mind of you. 25 You must cease from all work, and offer the Lord burnt-sacrifice. 26 And moreover (so ran the Lord’s word to Moses) 27 the tenth day of this seventh month is the day you are to honour by making atonement; it will be proclaimed holy, and you will fast on it, as well as offering the Lord burnt-sacrifice. 28 During this day you are to do no servile work; it is a day of atonement, to win the Lord’s mercy for you. 29 If anyone does not fast that day, he is lost to his people; 30 and I will rid the people, too, of anyone who does any work on it. 31 It must be an unalterable rule with you at all times and everywhere to cease work on that day; 32 it is to be all repose. The fast will begin on the evening of the ninth day, and from evening to evening you will rest.
33 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 34 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ἑορτὴ σκηνῶν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τῷ κυρίῳ 35 καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ πρώτη κλητὴ ἁγία πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε 36 ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ ὀγδόη κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ἐξόδιόν ἐστιν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε 33 And the Lord also spoke to Moses 34 giving him this message for the Israelites: From the fifteenth day of this seventh month onwards, you will keep, for a whole week, the feast of Tent-dwelling. 35 The first day is to be held in all honour and reverence; you will do no servile work on it. On each of the seven days you will offer the Lord burnt-sacrifice, 36 and the eighth day too you must keep with all honour and reverence, with burnt-sacrifices to the Lord; the people must assemble together, and no servile work is to be done.
37 αὗται αἱ ἑορταὶ κυρίῳ ἃς καλέσετε κλητὰς ἁγίας ὥστε προσενέγκαι καρπώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ θυσίας αὐτῶν καὶ σπονδὰς αὐτῶν τὸ κα{Q'} ἡμέραν εἰς ἡμέραν 38 πλὴν τῶν σαββάτων κυρίου καὶ πλὴν τῶν δομάτων ὑμῶν καὶ πλὴν πασῶν τῶν εὐχῶν ὑμῶν καὶ πλὴν τῶν ἑκουσίων ὑμῶν ἃ ἂν δῶτε τῷ κυρίῳ 37 These are the Lord’s feasts, which you must proclaim with honour and reverence, bringing the Lord your offerings, burnt-sacrifice and the gifts that go with it, as the rite of each day prescribes; 38 to make no mention of the sabbath, and of those offerings which you will make to the Lord in performance of a vow, or out of devotion.
39 καὶ ἐν τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ὅταν συντελέσητε τὰ γενήματα τῆς γῆς ἑορτάσετε τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πρώτῃ ἀνάπαυσις καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ ἀνάπαυσις 40 καὶ λήμψεσθε τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πρώτῃ καρπὸν ξύλου ὡραῖον καὶ κάλλυνθρα φοινίκων καὶ κλάδους ξύλου δασεῖς καὶ ἰτέας καὶ ἄγνου κλάδους ἐκ χειμάρρου εὐφρανθῆναι ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας 41 τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ ἑορτάσετε αὐτήν 42 ἐν σκηναῖς κατοικήσετε ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας πᾶς ὁ αὐτόχθων ἐν Ισραηλ κατοικήσει ἐν σκηναῖς 43 ὅπως ἴδωσιν αἱ γενεαὶ ὑμῶν ὅτι ἐν σκηναῖς κατῴκισα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐξαγαγεῖν με αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν 39 This is how you will celebrate your week of feasting in the Lord’s honour, at the time when the last of your crops have been gathered in, from the fifteenth day of the seventh month onwards. The first and the eighth days will be all repose. 40 And on the first day you will pluck fruit from some favourite tree, and branches of palm, leafy boughs, and osiers from the river banks, and so keep holiday in the presence of the Lord your God. 41 For a whole week every year you will honour this observance, making it a law at all times and everywhere. It is to be kept in the seventh month, 42 and for seven days you will live in arbours; the whole race of Israel will become tent-dwellers, 43 to remind those who come after you that I bade the sons of Israel dwell in tents when I rescued them from the land of Egypt; I, the Lord your God. 39 A quintodecimo ergo die mensis septimi, quando congregaveritis omnes fructus terræ vestræ, celebrabitis ferias Domini septem diebus: die primo et die octavo erit sabbatum, id est, requies. Ego Dominus Deus vester.
44 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς τὰς ἑορτὰς κυρίου τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ 44 So Moses gave word to the Israelites about the feasts they were to celebrate in the Lord’s honour.
